About Operation of Belt Conveyor

Belt conveyor conveying the goods based on the friction drive principle. It is mainly applied to convey goods the powder type, granularity, or small lump whose bulk density is less than 1.67 t/m3, such as coal, crushed stone, sand, cement, chemical fertilizer. Belt conveyor can work when the surrounding temperature is between -20℃ and +40℃. The temperature of the conveyed materials shall be lower than 60℃.

The length and assembling mode of belt conveyor for stone can be designed according to the customers’ requirements. Transmission work is done by the motorized pulley or the actuating device equipped with driver.

Before operating the belt conveyor for coal, the operator shall pay more attention to the following factors:
1.    Check the conveying equipment and the materials to be conveyed are all in good condition
2.    Make sure that there is no foreign body in every moving parts
3.    Check whether the electrical circuit is in good condition,
4.    Check and make sure that the difference between supply voltage and the Equipment rated voltage is less than 5%.

When the belt conveyor is running, do make sure that the weight of the materials to be conveyed shall meet the designed capability of the belt conveyor. Everyone is not allowed to touch the moving part of the belt conveyor. The laypeople are not allowed to tough the electrical element and control button.
