China hosts innovation game in Australia
Hundreds of innovators and scientific researchers have taken part in a China-sponsored innovation contest in Sydney, Australia.
Tuesday's event was a preliminary contest for Australian and New Zealand competitors. Competitions were held in five areas -- Biology, Medical Technology, I-T, Electronics, and Engineering.
The city of Shenzhen sponsors the global competition. Preliminary contests will also be held in Sydney, Tokyo, San Francisco, Munich, and Tel Aviv. Winners of each preliminary contest will be invited to Shenzhen. The Shenzhen government plans to invest 100 million US Dollars in the winners' projects.
