Factors that Influence the Crushing Effects of Rock Crusher-Ⅰ

In addition to the characteristics of the roller, there are four main factors that influence the crushing effects of the rock crusher greatly.

1.    Roll Clearance of the rock crusher for granite
When the high speed roll and low speed roll come close or go far away from each other, the roll clearance will be changed. When the roll clearance is reduced, the rolls will give more pressure on the materials and crushed them into smaller size. At the same time, the take-off rolling point will go forward and the crushing zone will elongate.

When the crushing zone elongates, tooth number which effects on the material will increase, in this way, the crushing ratio and pulverulent ratio of the rock crusher for sale will be improved. On the contrary, if the roll clearance gets bigger, the crushing force will reduce, size of the materials passing crushing zone will be bigger, and the length of the crushing zone will get shorter. The crushing ratio and pulverulent ratio of the rock crusher for sale will be reduced. However, the flow rate of the rock crusher will increase and the energy saving consumption will descend.

The size of the roll clearance can be measured by 3 thin lead sheets with length of 30mm and width of 5mm. Thickness of the lead sheets shall be bigger than the roll clearance for about 0.15-0.2 mm. When measuring the clearance, do not let the material fall down. Put 3 lead sheets respectively into the middle and the two ends of the roller. Then the low speed roll will leave Indented trace on the one side of the sheet, and the high speed roll will continuously scrap the other side of the sheet and forms a smooth flat surface. Finally measure the thickness of the 3 lead sheets respectively, and then minus the thickness of the bulge part, the average value of the three numbers will be the actual roll clearance of the roller.

Dimension of the roll clearance shall be determined by the flow and the particle size of the material. It shall be not too loose or too tighten. Usually the roll clearance shall be 1/2-2/3 of the particle size of the material.
