Differences between Spring Cone Crusher and Hydraulic Cone Crusher

1, Application

The hydraulic cone crusher is mainly used for fine crushing operations of medium or above hardness materials, especially for crushing production lines and sand making production lines that have strict requirements on the product and high degree of automation; while the spring cone crusher’s application is relatively narrow, mainly used in some crushing production processes that do not have too high requirements on production, and mostly used for second-stage crushing operation of various materials.

 

2, Discharge adjustment

For hydraulic cone crusher, the adjustment procedure can be completed only by operating the hydraulic control system to adjust the discharge port, which greatly reduces the labor intensity and technical difficulties for the operators. The spring cone crusher requires several people to adjust the discharge port. When the thread fit is not normal, you can not complete the adjustment easily. If it is stuck, this will stop production.

 

3, Safety Issue

The traditional spring cone crusher adopts spring safety device, which can automatically increase the discharge port when unbreakable foreign objects get into the crushing chamber or the equipment is overloaded. In this way the foreign objects can be discharged and safety performance guaranteed; for the hydraulic cone crusher, it has spring insurance, and it is also equipped with hydraulic safety, hydraulic locking, hydraulic adjustment, hydraulic cavity cleaning etc. When there are foreign objects in the crushing cavity, the hydraulic system can make the moving cone automatically moving back. When the foreign objects are discharged, the system resets moving cone automatically, and resumes the original discharge port position to continue working, this greatly ensures the safe operation of the equipment.
